A celebration of his life’s work, Boyer’s latest venture fuses the delicacy of fine French patisseries with the indulgence of a modern-Melburnian brunching destination. Pierrick Boyer created ‘the Paris Prahran Choux’ just for the awards this year. The dessert is a twist on the emblematic Paris-Brest with the symbolic Melbourne flavour of coffee. It is filled with a praline soft paste and a praline soft custard and dipped in a milk chocolate and almond coating, roasted coffee beans.
If Oreos just aren’t doing it for you anymore, this Chapel Street cookie bar is here to help you step things up. The Cookie Box prides itself on their rustic artisan cookies. These homemade-style cookies are the most gooey, chunky and scrumptious cookies in the world.
In a battle to create the most unique sweet treat in this category, Tommy Ruff Fish Bar created the ‘Icy Angler’, which is a sweet twist on the traditional fish and chips. The dish strongly resembles the real deal featuring a deep fried Magnum ice cream served with warm cinnamon sweet potato ‘chips’ and all of the in between.
Kaneffi is a Lebanese dessert bar with a modern touch that recently landed in Windsor. Grab yourself one of their ‘Cheeky Choc’ Baklava Dessert boxes with toppings like Oreo, Kit Kat and Ferrero Rocher. Sharing not advised.
