We believe men should not be limited by out-dated ideas of masculinity and should be free to express themselves with colour and pattern. Women shouldn't have all the fun!

FOOL was launched over 30 years ago by Rowena Doolan. Today, it’s a family-run label, with Pep Doolan working alongside Rowena on every aspect of the brand. The name FOOL draws from its historical roots: “A fool is a vibrant character—fun, bold, and unafraid to create a spectacle. To be a fool is to be brave, to live without judgment.” We take inspiration from the unexpected—our moods, our interests, and the world around us. The FOOL aesthetic is ever-evolving. In a city known for its dark fashion palette, we aim to bring colour, playfulness, and individuality to the forefront. Being a FOOL means feeling good in your own skin—and a big part of that is feeling confident in what you wear. Independence is central to our ethos. We design and manufacture everything locally, maintaining strong relationships with other small businesses. This allows us to focus on quality, attention to detail, and supporting our local community.
