Get ready to embrace your wild side! A vibrant celebration of creativity, individuality and the human spirit is coming to Chapel Street.
Melbourne artist Elli Bardas brings her colourful and imaginative world to Prahran with Remembering My Wild, a captivating pop-up art exhibition running from 21 November to 6 December 2026 at 230 Chapel Street.
Featuring a new iteration of Bardas’s Wild Things series, this free exhibition invites visitors to step into a world where joy, love and self-expression take centre stage.
Blending sculpture and portrait photography, Bardas creates an immersive visual world filled with playful, quirky and exuberant characters that celebrate the extraordinary spirit within each of us.
Her Wild Things are more than colourful artworks. They’re symbolic talismans, encouraging us to reconnect with our authentic selves and remember who we were before the world encouraged us to fit in.
Through her work, Bardas explores personal empowerment, individuality and the possibilities of a world shaped by joy, love and abundance rather than fear and division.
At the heart of Remembering My Wild is a simple but powerful idea: what if we gave ourselves permission to be exactly who we are?
Funny, weird, wonderful, creative, imperfect and full of possibility.
Bardas’s artistic practice explores the intersection of the human spirit, spirituality and nature, creating works that celebrate individuality and invite viewers to imagine more joyful and liberated futures.
Whether you’re an art lover, a creative soul or simply looking for something inspiring to explore while wandering Chapel Street, this exhibition offers a colourful reminder of the beauty of being yourself.
