Illuminate Chapel – A Celebration of Light, Culture and Community

Chapel Street is set to shine with the launch of Illuminate Chapel, a creative lighting activation celebrating the vibrant multicultural businesses and diversity of the Chapel Street precinct.

Launching at 7pm on Thursday 29 October 2026, the activation will transform the façade of Prahran Town Hall and its forecourt trees with colourful projections, bringing a new after-dark experience to the heart of Prahran.

Running nightly until April 2027, Illuminate Chapel will feature multiple changing themes throughout the activation, offering visitors new reasons to return, explore the precinct and experience Chapel Street in a different light.

Jointly funded with the Victorian State Government, this creative initiative celebrates the people, cultures and businesses that make Chapel Street unique.
