We love making new friends here at Chapel Street. Say hello to these newcomers and remember, play nice.

Here’s what’s new to the Chapel Street Precinct…
New to the Chapel Street Precinct Rebel Blue Restaurant, Windsor

Blue lights, blue cocktails, blue everything! This Windsor newcomer is serving Greek dishes with a twist. Keeping true to tradition and keeping up with the ever changing diets of today, Rebel Blue has all the lamb, moussaka and saganaki you’ve ever dreamt of, only the portion sizes won’t knock you out. Neighbours to fusion food supremes, Hawker Hall and Mr Miyagi, this rebel even has Greek san choy bau on the menu. A cheeky tapas style menu with a little something for everyone. P.s. The homemade baklava is a must-try!

New to the Chapel Street Precinct RocoMamas Burger joint on Chapel Street

Do’s – M.Y.O burger and choose from an intense selection of add-ons. These guys welcome serious DIYers. Order the fiery BBQ basted ribs and wings. Throw in some onion rings, mac ‘n’ cheese pucks and don’t forget the french fries with Rocomayo. Oh, and a chocolate thickshake to top it off, that’s a no-brainer.
Don’ts – Wear white. First date? This meal cannot be eaten gracefully (sauce will go everywhere).

New to the Chapel Street Precinct Ines Wine Bar

‘Sometimes you wine, sometimes you booze’, ain’t that the truth? Wise words hang on the wall of Ines, a new wine bar, with old school vibes. This beauty will have you stopping in your tracks, peaking inside and leave you unable to resist. She’s a charmer and she’s dishing up French and Italian delights in a small plate sharing manner. Our pick? The Polpette; a veal & porcini meatball on creamy polenta w roasted mushrooms. Don’t forget to ask the waiter for its matched wine.

LittleGreenonChapel_AcaiBowl_Native-1

A vegetarian wellness cafe has landed on the Yarra River end of Chapel Street, Little Green on Chapel is sure to be your new best friend. The ultimate goodie stop, with the added bonus that everything is really good for you! Think raw desserts, wellness bowls, juices, smoothies and jaffles. It’s basically plant-based heaven.

New to the Chapel Street Precinct Acai Bowl at Acai Brothers

Pronounced ‘ah-sah-ee’, acai bowls have been all the rage since the Instagram-able food trend started (they’re like, sah pretty). Only unlike Bistro Morgan doughnuts, acai bowls are actually really good for you. No guilt, just pleasure! A healthy breakfast, brunch or mid-afternoon option. Our fave is the Salted Caramel; acai (of course), banana, salted caramel protein, coconut yoghurt, choc buckini and your choice of three seasonal fruits. Acai bowls not your thing? Try their loaded banana bread options or a variety of tasty raw treats.

Proving itself to be an expert in revival, Vintage Sole has reopened with a fresh new look! Vintage Sole will make all your faux fur, kitschy shirts and overall dreams come to life. One-off pieces from decades ago means they’ll be no running into Becky wearing the same outfit out on the town. Now go on, take a peak and enjoy these no longer hidden treasures.
