The excitement levels are at 1000% with the opening of Chapel Street’s newest fashion retailer, Australian fashion brand Mister Zimi.
The Mister Zimi flagship store at 555a Chapel Street is perfectly placed amongst the fashion elite in South Yarra, with neighbours White Suede, Scanlan & Theodore and Alice McCall. We’re anticipating that the bright and diverse Mister Zimi designs will become a staple in the wardrobes of Chapel Street shoppers!
Mister Zimi unashamedly marches by the beat of its own drum.
Created by husband and wife team Jimi and Zoe Paul in 2007, this ageless brand had built a dedicated following by remaining diverse and not following trends. Designs are intended to be versatile, trans-seasonal and inspired in their simplicity.
“Mister Zimi’s easy-going aesthetic, relaxed silhouettes and vivacious prints are about feeling bold in print and relaxed in the fit. Creating patterns and prints inspired by exotic locations and cultures, each season is a carefully designed edit of 60’s and 70’s inspired garments. An array of unapologetic statements, Mister Zimi is for the adventurer in all of us.”
Celebrating exotic escapes, Mister Zimi’s Autumn Collection
It’s no surprise that bold prints and warm hues are at the core of Mister Zimi’s Autumn Collection ‘The Escape’. Designed for the relaxed holiday traveller, so expect to be transported to a lush tropical destination.
We’re excited for the promised floral prints of clovers, poppies, bluebells and trumpet lilies that highlight the collection. What a striking contrast the collection will make against the typical dark mood tones that are always strong elements in AW collections.
The Escape collection will also include three new must have jumpsuits, the Charlie, Nina and Florence (praise). Longtime favourites will still feature in the new collection as true trademarks on the vibrant Mister Zimi brand.
You can drop into the new Mister Zimi flagship store at 555a Chapel Street, South Yarra from 10am on Saturday 8 April.
Sometimes you’ve just gotta try something a little different. So next time you’re heading to Chapel Street, why not explore a little further and take a stroll down to Forrest Hill Precinct?
