Greville Street Library Opening

Greville Street Library Opening

After five years away, our beloved library returns home, join us for a joyous community celebration!

Mark your calendar: Saturday 11 October, 10 am–1 pm. Come along with family and friends and help us celebrate the reopening of the Greville Street Library.

A New Chapter for Prahran’s Library. The Greville Street Library is officially back inside the historic Prahran Town Hall — and it’s better than ever. The refurbished space now offers:

  • A larger collection of books across genres
  • Expanded study areas and public computers
  • Flexible spaces for programs and events
  • Twice the floor space compared with the previous Prahran Square location.

Conveniently located at 180 Greville Street, Prahran 3181, the library is now centrally placed near Chapel Street and inside the iconic Town Hall. Library hours will be Monday to Friday, 10 am–6 pm, and Saturday, 10 am–1 pm. All activities are free and open to all ages.
