We promise your couch won’t miss you. It’s time to get those muscles moving!
The Vic Government says Chapel Street Precinct’s gyms, health clubs and studios can still officially reopen from June 22. It’s time to burn off that iso banana bread.
Our gyms, health clubs and studios have been preparing for this day for a very long time and are going above and beyond with COVIDSafe measures and safety/cleanliness to ensure the safety of their patrons and staff. No more than 20 participants will be allowed per separate space, subject to the four square metre rule, with up to 10 people per group or class.
Virtual classes have been a great substitution, but one thing iso has taught us, is that that using your bag of rice as a weight or bench pressing the dog just doesn’t quite kick you into gear the same way being at the gym does. It’s that #gains vibe. You know what we’re talking about. There’s something about being in a room full of people suffering through the same workout you are, knowing that you’re all #inthistogether.
So with gyms now given the go-ahead to open their doors, turn on their treadmills, and get their indoor classes (no more freezing your butt off in the park at bootcamp) back in action – it’s time to get moving! Yoga, pilates, barre and dance studios are also included.
Here’s the rundown on which of your fave Chapel Street Precinct fitness studios are reopening. Be sure to keep an eye out for some sweet but limited time welcome back offers too!
