Chapel Street is party crashed Valentine’s Day letting the singles take over! Enough of the sad, sappy portrayal of singles every February 14th. This year saw the romanticised couples holiday devoid of red hearts and hand holding, instead Chapel Street was overrun with a horde of enthusiastic singles ‘celebrating single’.
The ‘Celebrate Single on Chapel Street’ marketing campaign was created by Chapel Street Precinct Association Marketing & Event Director Chrissie Maus. The sassy and confident single gal is a proud advocate of celebrating single.
Chapel Street is a hive of activity on any given day, with the best in fashion, beauty, bubbles and bites. This Valentine’s day, the Chapel Street Precinct Association bumped up the action with a hot young thing named ‘Jake’.
Who’s Jake? He was the focus of the Chapel Street Valentine’s Day campaign and a living, breathing Chapel Street local. Jake is sexy, single and ready to celebrate on Chapel. He’s a gentleman, loves nothing more than spending an afternoon in the gym and the night with friends at his South Yarra local.
“Jake is your dream guy and it’s hard to believe that he’s single! I am known to blush anytime he comes near me and I swear he stops traffic! The best thing is that he loves being single and having the freedom to do what he wants, when he wants it. He is all of us singles, in a way. We just want to be a little selfish for now!” Says Ms Maus. ”
Jake will be hit Chapel Street on Valentine’s Day, dressed to impress with a red lapel pin. “Find Jake, strike up a conversation and enjoy an amazing night on Chapel Street celebrating single!” says Ms Maus.
