JORDIE LANE
Singer-songwriter, Folk raconteur, Jordie Lane is as much celebrated amongst his musical peers and
industry, as with fans of the great art of storytelling through song. Jordie returns to The Chapel this
Summer after his 2018 sold out session.This time, with the world premiere of songs from his
forthcoming EP, ‘Lost’, a collection of dark and moody cinematic wanderings.

SEX ON TOAST
Sex on Toast are an irrepressibly charming 10 man organisation who specialise in raw early 80’s funk,
hard-edged new jack swing, blazing improvisation and heartfelt blue-eyed soul. Currently residing in
Melbourne, Australia, their choreographed stage act, complex arrangements, performative larrikinism
and danceability have won the hearts of casual punters and hardcore fans alike, all across Australia.

NICKY BOMBA
Nicky Bomba is an internationally renowned musician, producer and songwriter. As leader of the ARIA
award winning Melbourne Ska Orchestra, front man for the Carribean styled Bustamento and highly
respected drummer (3 albums with John Butler Trio) he is constantly touring and working on musical
adventures.

GARRETT KATO
The strangest of journeys make for the most intriguing of stories and records, for that matter. A
busker from Canada who set up shop on the streets of Byron Bay and is now a global artist, Garrett’s
music comes from his heart and soul. His voice is effortlessly gentle and soothing which has lead to
millions of Spotify streams and festival touring. This Journey now brings Garrett to release his debut
EP and a special one off show.

TAYLOR HENDERSON
Back by popular demand after two sellout shows in the Chapel. Taylor will be serenading you with all

THANDO
A much loved Chapel Summer Sessions veteran, Thando returns to the Chapel.
The Zimbabwean born, Melbourne based soul singer has had a breakthrough year in 2018,
and a musical metamorphosis with singles ‘Numb feat. Remi’ and ‘Happy’. She will be joined at the
Chapel Summer Sessions by the all-female SPIRE ENSEMBLE for a one-off performance treat.

MAX RIEBL
For years, Max Riebl performed on the classical concert stage. Dressed in tails and tuxedos, standing

Matt Doll brings his brand new solo band to The Chapel stage for a one night only retrospective on a
career spanning almost 3 decades. Matt Doll has been a fixture in the Australian music scene for over
20 years as the lead singer/songwriter and creative force in bands The Mavis’s and The Blow Waves.
Matt will play his favourite songs and the classics by his own bands The Mavis’s as well as introduce his new record “Night Flight”.
