WANT TO SHARE THE SALT AND PEPPER? IT’S A HABIT YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO SHAKE OFF.
Say hello to sanitiser stations and single-use menus. These are just two of the big changes that have arrived at your favourite Chapel Street Precinct restaurants and cafes as coronavirus lockdown restrictions are gradually lifted.
On June 1, we joined the rest of Australia by being able to eat and drink inside our famous restaurants, cafes and pubs again (hooray)!
Our iconic eateries are now able to host up to 20 people in an enclosed space. The bistro section of pubs (where food is served) have also reopened; however, the public bar and gaming areas of pubs will remain closed for the time being.
Chapel Street Precinct’s world-class cafés and restaurants are going to do things a little differently as coronavirus restrictions ease. Our eateries are abiding by existing physical distancing requirements of one person per four square metres and tables are spaced at least 1.5 metres apart. Our venues will also need to take the contact details of every customer for rapid contact tracing purposes.
If you are having withdrawals, don’t wait long to book! With such limited spaces restaurants are filling up fast and you will be left sitting at home alone.
*Don’t be that person! We ask if you make a booking to try your best to keep the reservation as our businesses are relying on you and with such small patron numbers, your booking means more than ever.
“Chapel Precinct is now getting busier by the day and our businesses are taking a leadership role in implementing market-leading measures to keep diners safe. It’s now more than ever that our businesses need your support. We must all do whatever we can to support local and save our iconic community.” says Chrissie Maus (Chapel Street Precinct General Manager).
We want you to feel as safe as possible so please review the Hospitality Guidelines shared to all our Chapel Street Precinct business in preparation for reopening.
