Red Drum Music Studio is all about helping people become better musicians, whether they’re picking up sticks for the first time or already playing at a high level. The Prahran studio places a strong emphasis on technique, musicianship and personalised teaching, with experienced instructors tailoring lessons to each student’s ability, goals and pace.
What stands out is the teaching culture. Students describe the instructors as highly technical, patient and deeply invested in progress, with a focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating. It’s a serious place to learn without feeling intimidating, the kind of studio where improvement comes with plenty of encouragement along the way.
