While Kooyong and Rod Laver stadium is overrun with Tennis elite, Melbourne’s premier shopping precinct, Chapel Street has a few balls of their own to play. In an ode to the Australian Open, Chapel Street Precinct Association Director Chrissie Maus, launched today their new ‘PLAY ON CHAPEL’ 2017 Tennis marketing campaign, in a bid to draw in crowds from the nearby Arenas.
Ms Maus says “Chapel Street is the best place to ‘play’ in Melbourne! This campaign will reflect that Melbourne love Tennis and drive more money in our members tills with cut through collateral.”
“Play on Chapel is a way of showing how diverse Chapel Street Precinct is, with a focus on letting people know that there’s more antics to be had on Chapel Street than a late night at Revolver.” says Ms Maus.
In the past 6 months, the NEW Chapel Street Precinct Association has been known to throw the rule book out the window, and this campaign has a few tactics that will have some marketing referees blowing the whistle!
Chapel Street is home of the unexpected. With unique ways to play, as well as fashion, hospitality and lifestyle, this a destination that is unmatched. Over 1800 shopping outlets span the Chapel Street Precinct, where visitors will be treated with fun, exciting ways to spend their evenings … once the Rod Laver court lights go out!
