Quietly popping up in Windsor a while ago, new Italian joint Eat’aliano by Pino (actually that should more accurately be “by Pino and Alessio”) has only recently officially launched. So let’s hurry up and get straight to the good stuff; what wonderful Italian eats to order!
1. Burrata: pretty much mozzarella with a pure cream centre. Eating this is like floating away to heaven on a gooey, cheese cloud. Ask the Eat’aliano team for some focaccia and you’ve pretty much made a perfectly good meal right there.
2. Pizza and doughnuts are two of our favourite things and Eat’aliano’s Panzerotti Fritti are pretty much a love child of the two. For this pizza dough is fried and the result ends up like a savoury Italian doughnut. If this isn’t hair-of-the-dog-style hangover cure – when paired alongside a Peroni or a Negroni – we don’t know what is.
3. Obviously the Napoli-style pizza is too good to pass up. The titular Pino is one of the brains behind the renowned La Svolta and they even have accreditation from the official pizza association in Italy! These pies are blitzed in an authentic pizza oven in 50 seconds flat.
Don’t take our word for it (though we have done the hard-yards research). Take a look at what Onya Magazine, Mel Hot or Not and The AU Review think you should scoff at Eat’aliano by Pino. And follow us on Instagram for more foodie finds.
